3 Days to Go

Day 8

We spent all day working on exhibition. We had 3 areas of focus for today. The first was to complete shooting the video of the French component. Two groups still need to complete this tomorrow. These groups should memorise their French lines and bring all costumes to school tomorrow. Groups that complete their video shoot need to add their English subtitles and if possible figure out a way to add French titles or headlines to their video. Remember to bring the device containing the edited video to school tomorrow. All videos must be transferred to one device tomorrow.

The second focus was our oral presentation. The Grade 6s finalised the programme for Friday as well as the oral introduction. There were many ideas suggested and much debate on which ideas to go with. We used the democratic process to help with our decisions. We had a quick run through of this presentation at the end of the day today. All groups had a chance to practice their oral presentations and slideshows today. We will keep doing this for the rest of the week. Remember your devices and cue cards for each day. Students should continue to work on memorising their lines.

The final focus was to start finishing up the standing display. Any outstanding materials must be brought in tomorrow. All standing displays must be completed by end of day tomorrow. By the end of the school day, our classroom looked like a tornado had swept through it.

Exhibition groups are still working on their action components. As part of their action component for Exhibition, Jerry and Akash have sent home a small checklist for students to complete.

The ordering system for June lunch is up and open. Please ensure you place your order no later than May 19th at 4:00 pm. Lunch payment is due by May 23rd 4:00 pm.
