We spent our day at City Church for this weeks’ Arts’ Night dress
rehearsal. Grade 6 students did a good job working in a new environment with
interruptions around the performance.
First they worked on math review. I checked all work in the MMS 7 book. Students
should correct any work if applicable. Students also received an additional review
package to help prepare them for Wednesday’s test. This should be completed for
homework and returned to school tomorrow when we will take up all questions as
a class.
Next up was novel discussion time where we discussed Chapter 10 of Bridge to Terabithia as a class. The
class was assigned to read Chapter 11 and answer the questions relating to
Chapter 11. This is due tomorrow when we will have our next discussion time.
Students then worked on their Digital Footprint summative task. Students
will need devices all week as they continue work on their summative task.
Students are to come to school dressed in their Arts’ Night costumes tomorrow
and Wednesday. We will perform for JK - Grade 2 students in the auditorium
tomorrow. Our performance for parents will take place on Wednesday, May 30th
at 1:30 pm and 7 pm at the City Church.
