We had our Grade 6 spelling bee contest today. Congratulations to Hersh and
Zane for making it as two of the finalists that move on to Wednesday’s contest,
May 16. The contest begins at 9 am in the auditorium and all are welcome to
attend.
We had our second novel discussion time where we discussed Chapter 2 as a
class. Students also shared their visualizations of an aspect of this chapter. The
class was assigned to read Chapter 3 and answer the questions relating to
Chapter 3. This is due tomorrow when we will have our next discussion time.
Students had French class today. Most students participated in bubble
soccer. It looked like they had lots of fun and it seemed to tire them out
quite a bit.
We ended the day working on our Arts’ Night performance. We practiced most
of our skits today. Dancers are beginning to work on their routines. Students
are to begin thinking of their costumes for this performance. Our performance
will take place on Wednesday, May 30th at 1:30 pm and 7 pm.
