We had a short academic day today. First we began with math where we got
started on our new patterning unit. We practiced representing patterns by
modeling the pattern on grid paper, displaying it in a table, writing it as a
pattern rule, and displaying it as a graph. Almost all students completed the
practice work on pages 148 – 149 of the MMS 6 workbook.
Students used the remaining class time to work on their DRA, OWA, and unit
reflections. Students who have still not completed these items will need to use
recess and gym time to get done going forward.
After lunch and recess, we headed to UTM’s Mist theatre and enjoyed being
the audience as the MYP students performed ‘Battle for Juliet’.
Students had French class when we got back to school.
Students are reminded to hand in their bubble soccer waiver forms if they
haven’t already done this.
