Day 4
Sorry for
the late blog posting everyone. I was in an in-school workshop yesterday, but I
spent a bit of time with the Grade 6s for a very important event – The Grand
Prix! This was as noisy as a real grand prix, but with the voices of screaming
students instead of screaming engines :-).
We invited the school to come into our classroom to look at our cars and
vote on the best looking car. The results of the Grand Prix are as follows:
The Speedy
Award for the fastest car goes to Areej.
The Arrow
Award for the car that best travels in a straight line goes to Kaaya.
The Good
Looker Award for the best looking car goes to Farah.
The Grade 6
class attended French, music and gym class yesterday.
Students
will be writing a math unit test on Decimals on Thursday, December 1st.
Students
ended the day watching the video of the City of Ember to reward the completion
of the novel and to rest a bit after all their hard work.
