Wednesday!
The Grade
6's had a great day today. In the morning, we reviewed and took up last night's
homework. We began learning a new concept in Math: using numbers to solve
figure equations. They were a little tricky at first, but the class worked
together to problem solve. We then shared the strategies used to solve the
equations. Students who did not get done are asked to complete practice
work on p. 25 of the MMS textbook.
In the
afternoon, the students worked on their UOI project: building an electric car
that meets the specified criteria as discussed earlier. The Grade 6's were
eager to continue working on their cars. So far, the cars are looking great!
