Grade 6s spent today working on various components of their
Exhibition project. Five groups did a second run through practicing their
presentation. They again received feedback and suggestions on changes to be
made and ways to improve their presentation.
Most groups have completed their cue cards. Some need to
make improvements to their cue cards. Groups who are behind were asked to
complete their cue cards ASAP. Many groups still have many corrections and
improvements to make to their slideshows. I am still waiting for a number of groups to
email me their skits in English. Students also worked on media components,
action components, oral components, and visual art components. Many groups
still need help from parents in finding someone to interview as well as
coordinating the interview. All art supplies must now be at school.
Some groups whose work is on track got to go to gym and out
for recess. Students who ordered sundaes got to enjoy these during second
lunch.
Some groups met with their mentors today.
We ended the day with a Spring Fundraiser Assembly.
Tomorrow is the last day for the bake sale.
Remember to send in old batteries that you need to safely
dispose of. The Grade 1 and 2 classes at SJA will take care of this for you as
part of their UOI.
