Time Zones

Today in math, we learned about winter and summer time zones in Canada. Students calculated the difference in time form one time zone to another. Ask your child if time gets earlier or later as you move east or west. Students used this knowledge to solve problems involving time zones across Canada. We finished up all the practice questions during class. There is no math homework assigned for today.

We then used the remaining class time to prepare for International Day. Families are invited to come an visit us in the gym from 2:30 to 3:30 this Friday.

Grade 6s attended Drama,  French and Gym class today.

Look out for a letter about the SJA performance of MacBeth taking place on February 12.
