Pink Shirt Day

We started our day attending a Pink Shirt Day assembly. Students heard the story about how Pink Shirt Day was started. They then were treated to an anti-bullying skit performed by Mr. Whetstone, Mr. Oliver, Ms. Blair, Ms. Jaskolka, and Mr. Foster and his students. Finally, our Grade 4 student, Arya, recited her speech about bullying.

We had two sessions of inquiry time today. In the first session, students were challenged to complete one page of their brochure. In the second session, they worked two complete 2 more pages. Students who did not complete these 3 pages are to complete them for homework. We will use tomorrow’s class time to complete the remaining 3 pages. Devices are needed tomorrow as we work on this project. Brochures are due on Friday.
The OWA post-assessment task is scheduled to take place on Friday.
Students attended music class with Mr. Oliver, Phys. Ed. Class with Mr. Orr, French class with Mme. Stella, and math class with Ms. Autio as Ms. Joseph was away today. For homework, students are to complete Q 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 from page 418 - 419 of their textbooks.
