Political Parties

In today's math lesson, students worked through a review package to prepare for Wednesday's Geometry test. The Geometry unit test is on Wednesday, November 5.

During our inquiry unit on government, we explored the 5 major political parties in Canada by visiting each party's website. Student's noted the party's leader, their colour and symbol, and what the party stands for. Ask your child what they learned.

During novel study time, students met in groups to discuss chapter 13 of Shannen and the Dream for a School. Students then had class time to read chapter 14. Most students did not have enough time to get through all the discussion questions relating to chapter 14. Any incomplete work needs to be completed at home.

Grade 6s attended French and Gym class today.
