Janet Wilson Visit

Our day began with Grade 6s completing an assessment to show what they know about decimals - our next math unit. Students are bringing home their geometry unit tests today. Please take time to review the test with your child, sign it, then return it to school tomorrow.

We were then joined by the Grade 5s. Students worked in groups to write the constitution for their island government. Students are nearing the point where they will begin working on their slide show. Students should bring in a device that this can be done on.

We then all moved to Portable 6 where Janet Wilson was waiting to share her experiences with us. Ms. Wilson was very generous with her time and stayed 30 minutes more than planned. SJA students were completely absorbed by her presentation. Well done on the fantastic behaviour and attention Grade 6s! Ask your child to tell you what they learned.

Grade 6s attended Drama, French, and Gym class today.

We did not have class time to allocate to science fair today. Students are encouraged to come to school early each day to work on their projects from 8 am to 8:45 am daily.
