Students wrote a math test to show their knowledge and understanding
on concepts in transformational geometry today.
We had a lot of catching up to do with our language books
where we have been working with verbs. Students are now all caught up, but many
did not get time in class to work on their forces projects. I will allow one
more building day on Monday for students who still need time. Students wrote
their list 21 spelling test. Tests are coming home today.
I had a brief meeting with each student to check on their
speech jot notes. Students were introduced to a graphic organiser they will use
to help them organise their jot notes into paragraphs. It is called the
Outline/Prewriting Planner in their Speech Duo tangs. This planner is due on
Monday.
We ended the day reading with our Kindergarten reading
buddies. This was a nice way to begin the weekend after all the hard work
students have done.
Students attended French and art class today.
Look out for a trip letter coming home today.
