St. Patrick's Spirit Day

Today’s St. Patrick’s Spirit Day game took place at the end of the day. It involved searching for treasure (green coins) through a pot of Lucky Charms while blindfolded.  Well done to Zeta, Theta, and Kappa taking first, second, and third place respectively.

Our day began with a relaxing hour of board games. We deliberately made a point of enjoying each other’s company while NOT on devices. Everyone was reluctant to pack the games away and do some work, even ‘green screen’ work.

Students reflected on this term’s work as they wrote their report card comments. These will go home after March Break. We continued to brainstorm issues for our exhibition. We then examined the issues generated to see if they meet the criteria of:

-          Fitting the theme

-          Worth of learning about in an in-depth inquiry

-          Age appropriate

-          actionable

Students had music, math, and French class today.

Students received their spelling bee packages today. They should review these words during the break. The spelling bee takes place two weeks into the third term.

Look out for summer camp forms coming home today.

Have a wonderful break.
