Relative Frequency

 

The track & field medals were awarded at this morning’s assembly.

We continued working on our Probability math unit today. Students continued learning about tree diagrams and listing all possible outcomes. They also learned about the term ‘relative frequency’ and understand that is the same as experimental probability. Students were assigned practice work on p. 224– 231 of the MMS 7 workbook. Those who did not complete the practice work in class are asked to do this for homework. The probability unit test will be written on Tuesday, June 12^th or Wednesday, June 13^th.

Students worked on their final writing assessment for the year. This was an opportunity to improve in their weak areas, and apply all their learning to produce an improved interview.

Four groups presented their Digital Footprint summative task this afternoon. Students will need devices all week as they continue work on their summative task. Students who are at the track meet tomorrow but who did not get to present their project today will present first thing Friday morning. Students who are not going to the track meet will present their projects tomorrow. Students may then present to their chosen class from Friday, June 8 – Tuesday, June 12^th.

Grade 6s attended gym class today.

The graduation celebration permission form, $82 cash and the AIR RIDERZ waiver is now past due. Our JUMP ID is 411507.
