Today we met in our novel study groups for our final
discussions of The Bridge to Terabithia. Students completed a
connections activity where they made connections between the book and our
personal health UOI. They identified characters whose mental, physical, social,
etc. health was at risk, they linked the risk to the Real World Safety Pledge
and suggested ways that the characters could reduce the risk.
Students used their learning to create a Summer Safety
Slogan poster.
Their final task was to choose items to add to their digital
portfolio.
All materials, including PYP portfolios have been taken
home.
At the end of the day, we watched Bridge to Terabithia.
Grade 6s attended gym class with Mr. Slyk and Music class
with Mr. Andrei.
Graduation is tonight at 5 pm. Dress smart casual.
Bring a water bottle for tomorrow`s trip to Aerosports. Wear
something that is comfortable to jump in and nice enough to wear to Mandarin.

Complete your digital portfolio at home if you did not get
done in class.
