Today ran
similarly to yesterdays with a number of run-throughs of our performance
components with all Grade 6s present. This component was improved from
yesterday. Students need more volume, passion, and gestures.
The remainder
of the day was used by groups to work on various components as needed by them. Many
used this time to work on their display boards. We also began another practice
round of the oral components. Students should have their poem/rap memorised for
tomorrow. They should also be working on memorising their cue cards.
Some
students attended the silent dance today.
Students are
reminded exhibition work must be completed in class and not for homework.
Students
should bring in refreshments for exhibition.
The final
Caribou contest takes place tomorrow morning.
