Our day
began with a fun Easter Spirit Day game hosted by Theta. Well done to Zeta,
Theta, and Kappa for placing first, second, and third respectively. We received
a house game update and learned that Kappa, Zeta, and Theta are in first, second
and third place overall respectively.
Our academic
day began with exhibition. Students were challenged to submit the good copy of
their essay, conference with me once they had completed the first draft of
their slideshow, and write 4 lines of their poem. The reward for accomplishing
this was attending gym class. Most got to go to gym.
In math, Ms. Joseph
covered subtracting integers using a number line. Subtraction is the opposite
of addition. When students subtract, they move in the opposite direction of
addition. They practiced questions from the worksheet. For homework they are to
complete worksheet page number 195 Q 4 & 5 as well as the review worksheet.
The tentative day for the test is Wednesday, April 24th, 2019.
Students are
reminded exhibition work must be completed in class and not for homework.
Spring
fundraising payments for the trip can still be made.
Remember to
send in the form and money for the Wizard
of Oz costumes. These are past due.
Silent dance
forms are due back by Tuesday, April 23rd.
