Students attended French class with Mme. Villeneuve and Gym
class with Ms. Lovan.
Almost everyone has now finished the first draft of their
adventure story and have had them peer- and teacher-edited. Today’s homework
task is for everyone to have their story typed up and sent to me by tomorrow.
Students need to submit their Polar Expressions entry forms by tomorrow too.
Students used math and literature circle time to work on the
math unit test. We did not have literature circle meetings or discussions
today. There is no assigned homework related to The Lightning Thief.
Students are to keep working on their cars. All students are
asked to bring in their car to have the final conference on the testing phase
by tomorrow.
Our inquiry time found us lounging on our classroom floor
while we debated news, politics, religion, the math test, and sports. Thank you
to our Grade 6 parents for the yummy food you sent in allowing us to enjoy our
unit in this Greek fashion.
