Day 7
Students
began their week by ending a math unit. The unit test for number patterns was
written this morning.
The class
attended gym with Mr. Slyk.
Next up was
language time. Today was our last session of reading samples of tales and
legends. Today’s sample was particularly descriptive. It had many areas of strength
which the class listed on their T-charts. Some Grade 6s thought it deserved a
level 3 while most thought it deserved a level 4.
Students who
have not completed their slideshows used their first recess to work on them.
Students who have not completed their slideshows need to keep bringing their
devices to school.
The class
then headed off to French with Mme. Stella. She has asked me to remind students
that they have a French spelling test this Friday.
When students
got back from French, Farah and Bibi were ready to present their slideshow on
Wind Power. Well done on being the first group ready to get this done, girls.
We ended the
day working on electric cars.
