Grade 6s had a wonderful time skiing yesterday.
Most of our class time today was taken up with our class
speech competition. The Grade 5 students joined us for this event. Mr. Palumbo
and I had the difficult task of placing
students from each grade into the top 3
positions. To hep make this decision easier, we asked students to participate
in a secret ballot where they voted on who they thought deserved first, second,
and third place. I was proud of the effort by Grade 6 students. Well done to
all on the hard work that was done in researching for, writing, and memorising
the speech as well as the bravery in presenting in front of a large audience.
The following students have been selected to move forward to
the next round of the competition: Zachary, Julia, and Temi.
Grade 6s attended French and Gym class today.
