Our day
began with a class discussion of Chapters 20, 21, & 22 of Tuck Everlasting. Students have been
assigned the following reading: Chapters 23, 24, 25 and the Epilogue. They need
to complete discussion pages 59 - 68 in the study guide. Most of this work was
completed in class. Any incomplete work needs to be completed as homework for
tomorrow’s class.
Students who
completed all their novel study reading and responses worked on their Haida
art.
We had
enough time for only three students to present their Powtoons. Students who did
not present will need to be ready to present tomorrow. Devices are needed for
this. Students who have presented are asked to share their Powtoon with me.
We had two sessions
of Christmas concert rehearsal today at the dome. We will have a final
rehearsal tomorrow morning before the afternoon performance at 12: 30 pm. The
evening performance is at 7 pm. Students should be dropped off at the classroom
at 6 pm. They can be picked up from the gymnasium after the concert.
Grade 6s had
French and a little bit of math class today.
Christmas
concert costumes for tomorrow are as follows -North Pole team: black pants,
green top/sweater, reindeer antlers. South Pole team: black pants, red
top/sweater, Santa hat
Ski/snowboard
