Our day
began with a class discussion of Chapters 15 & 16 of Tuck Everlasting. Students have been assigned the following
reading: Chapters 17, 18, & 19. They need to complete discussion pages 47 -
51 in the study guide. Some of this work was completed in class. Any incomplete
work needs to be completed as homework for tomorrow’s class.
Next we
worked on our explorers’ inquiry unit. Today students continued working on
their Powtoon that shows First Peoples and their interaction with the
environment. They used first recess to work on this, and most chose to have a
working lunch and continued working on it. These projects are due tomorrow.
Students may send me their links or connect their devices to the TV tomorrow so
projects can be viewed by the class.
We had one
session of Christmas concert rehearsal today.
Grade 6s had
French and math class today. In math students continued work on the unit review.
For homework, they should study for the math test. The math test is to be
written tomorrow, Friday, December 14th.
We said
goodbye to Ms. Katherine today. We have enjoyed having her in our class.
Students have become very fond of her. She brought in some treats for us to
enjoy together. We in turn surprised her with our own treat.
Christmas
concert costumes for next week Monday & Tuesday are as follows -North Pole
team: black pants, green top/sweater, reindeer antlers. South Pole team: black
pants, red top/sweater, Santa hat

return ski/snowboard form and waiver by Monday.

a trip form coming home today. This is due back by Thursday, December 20th.
