In Thursday’s inquiry time, students used class time to complete
all research on their chosen power source. Groups had many conference times
with me and received feedback on information that was needed in their organizers.
In today’s inquiry time, students were challenged to use their research and
complete their slideshow in one sitting while referring to the required
criteria. Students who did not complete their slideshows used recess time to
get caught up. Students who did complete their slideshows used class time to work
on their electric cars. Presentations
will take place on Thursday and Friday this week. We will use tomorrow’s
inquiry time to practice presentations.
Electricity unit tests are coming home today. Please take
time to review the test with your child, sign it, and return it to school.
There are a couple students who still need to email me their
OPG graphs (mhaag@stjudesacademy.com)
or submit their graphs to me if printing at home. Please do this ASAP if this
applies to you.
We began learning about limericks in language time. Ask your
child to describe the form of a limerick.
It was wonderful seeing everyone at International Day last
Thursday. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.
Grade 6s attended music, French and math class today.
Well done on remembering winter uniforms, Grade 6s.
