Students wrote the integers unit test today.
We continued working on exhibition for the remainder of the day.
Based on today’s rehearsal, students have discovered that they still need
some props and uniform pieces. Also, some visual display items still need
finalising. All these should be at school tomorrow.
Students should be memorising their cue cards.
Grade 6 students are required to bring items for the refreshment table for
both morning and evening sessions. Students have made the following commitments
regarding refreshments:
Mehar – pineapple
Adiyah – strawberries
Zane – watermelon
Laryssa – apple
Wael – bananas
Nikhil – cantelope
Nicole, Jarniko, Alex –
cheese
Lucas, Emilia, Alexis –
crackers
Rishaan – samosas
Maram, Taran, Celeste - Water
(24 x 500 mL)
Hersh, Krish, Kian – Ice

If possible, peel and cut fruit for us. We will assemble a platter at
school. Please send fruit and cheese on Thursday or Friday morning. Other items
may be brought in earlier. Students are
reminded to bring in one package of NUT & PEANUT FREE cookies and 2
packages (8 in a package) of juice if they haven’t already done this.
If possible, please send a lamp to school to help light up the tables as we
have removed the bulbs in the auditorium for the BLS.
Students are asked to arrive at school at 8 am on Friday.
Each group should keep working on their ‘Items Needed’ list where they record all items needed for
exhibition day, such as full uniform pieces, French component costumes &
props, BLS costumes & props, items for art display, items for visual
display, etc.
Students should be working on spelling bee practice in preparation for
the contests that will take place soon.
Students have decided to order dinner from Pizza Hut and a Hakka restaurant
for Friday’s dinner. More to follow about this.
Look out for a letter coming home today about next week’s MYP Shakespeare
production ‘The Battle for Juliet’. Grade
6s will attend a performance on Wednesday, May 9th in exchange for a
donation of a canned food or non-perishable food item.
