Day 2 – Viking Art

For students who are up-to-date with their work, today was a relaxing Friday. We viewed the RSA Animates in class this morning. We then moved on to the math review. Students worked to complete and correct the entire package. Once students had completed this work they began a Viking art project where they worked with oil pastels, wax crayons, and tempera paint. Students who were behind on their RSA Animate or speech work were required to get caught up before they could begin their art work. As a result, some students have not begun their art work yet.

Math reviews are coming home again. Students who are done all the work should continue reviewing to be prepared for the test on Tuesday, February 6^th. Students who are not done need to complete this work on the weekend and submit it for marking on Monday.

Everyone should practice reciting their speech to family members this weekend. We will choose the finalists on Monday.

Students attended French and gym class today.

Remember to return the trip form for our visit to the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum. Forms and payment are due on Monday, February 5^th.

Keep collecting pledges and donations for the Jump Rope for Heart Event.
