Day 2
We continued
working on our Fractions, Percents, Ratios, and Rates math unit. We took up
yesterday’s homework and then did a lesson on estimating and finding a percent.
We explored various methods of doing this as a class before students began the
practice work on their own. Students are asked to complete practice questions
on p. 318 – 319 of the MMS textbook.
The rest of
class time was spent working on exhibition. Today’s goal was to write the revised
draft of the essay by using feedback received to improve the information
presented in the essay. Students are now asked to again have two adults read
and provide feedback on their work. This is due tomorrow. Students need their
devices and Gmail account as they will begin typing up their essay’s tomorrow.
Students
attended French class where they began working on their French component for exhibition.
Grade 6s
attended gym today.
Look out for
a letter about a squash trip coming home today.
