We began our day with math. I met with students
individually to check the review work they have been working on. Students
were asked to complete questions 11 - 15 on p. 335 of the MMS textbook in
class. Those who did not complete or correct this work in class are asked to
finish it up as homework. The unit test will take place tomorrow.
The remainder of our day was spent on Exhibition. Remaining groups emailed me the first typed draft of their essays. I have edited those essays. All groups should make corrections and send me the final and good copy of their essays by Wednesday, April 20. Most groups did not include a Works Cited page with a list of sources using MLA formatting. This must be added to the good copy of the essay.
As groups worked on their media components, I met with them to discuss progress on their survey, interview, action component, and visual art component. Groups need help from parents in finding someone to interview as well as coordinating the interview. Some groups made progress on their survey questions by creating a poster of their question, creating survey handouts. One group even began conducting their survey.
Some groups met with their mentors today.
Students are reminded to work on their digital portfolios. Ms. Ymbang will be available to students to help them with any problems they have had with uploading items tomorrow and Wednesday. Tomorrow is Ms. Ymbang’s last day with us.

Remember to send in old batteries that you need to safely dispose of. The Grade 1 and 2 classes at SJA will take care of this for you as part of their UOI.

Tomorrow morning, we will have a Spring Fundraiser assembly where we will hear who is the top student and class to have raised the most funds. Keep working at adding amounts to your pledge sheet and bring these in daily.
