Friday was a wonderfully successful day for this year's
Grade 6s. All their hard work paid off and they were able to demonstrate their
learning in a confident way. I am very proud of them.
Today we took time to reflect on the exhibition. Students
wrote about their favourite part of exhibition and how they showed that they
were an inquirer. They then began working on the first draft of a letter to
next year's Grade 6s. The letter explains what exhibition is, the steps taken
in the process, some challenges that students faced, advise on what to do and
what not to do, and wishes.
It was then time for students to board the bus and head to Stratford to watch The Taming of the Shrew.
We should be back at 6 pm tonight.
Many students have not returned their golfing permission
forms. We are golfing tomorrow from 12 pm to 2 pm. Students should come to
school in their gym clothes for the golfing trip.
Look out for the Cookie Dough Fundraiser letter coming home
today. Some students are bring After-Care Statements home. Look out for a
letter about the Spelling Bee coming home today.
