Our day began with math.
Students learned what an equation is. Ask your child to explain what an equation
is to you. We practiced writing all the
possible addition facts for a number.
Students attended gym,
French, and art classes today.
Today in our inquiry unit we
wondered what a community, a rural community, and an urban community is.
Students shared their ideas with the class, and then researched to find
definitions for these terms. Ask your child to define these terms to you. They
used a Venn diagram to sort what features would be in these communities.
We ended the day working on
list 2 spelling words, kinds of sentences, and finding sums in arithmetic.
