I wasn’t on the ski & snowboard trip yesterday, but I heard
that students had a wonderful time at Glen Eden.
We started our time together going over the Canada in the World
unit test. Students had the opportunity to reflect on where and how they could
have improved their responses. They also checked that I had added up their
scores correctly. Tests are not coming home today because we need to work on IB
portfolios tomorrow. Students also completed the self-assessment for their developing
country brochure project and the ambassador’s tea party. Finally, students
selected 4 work samples from their duo-tangs to add to their portfolios. We
will finish this task tomorrow.
Students then attended math class with Ms. Joseph. They
wrote the probability unit test during this time. Grade 6s also attended music
class with Mr. Oliver, Phys. Ed. Class with Mr. Orr, and French class with Mme.
Stella. They have been assigned French homework that is due tomorrow.
Students
attended a fun house game later in the day.
Look
out for the following coming home today:

·
