This and That

Students spent much of this morning working through their geometry unit test.

Once they were done with the test, students worked independently on their government work, completing all pages up to and including "How We Get the Government to Listen to Us". Students who did not get done in class are asked to finish up at home. Grade 6s will be writing a Government Unit Test on Thursday, November 13.

Students who completed the government work, worked on writing a Haiku poem for the Polar Expressions Poetry Competition.

Students were away a part of the day playing squash or tennis. They reported that they had a good time.

We ended the day with our government unit again. Ms. Eisele's Grade 5s joined us for this time. Students were introduced to the final task for the government unit. Ask your child to tell you about it. They have been placed into groups and have already made progress on their projects.

We did not have time to work on our Novel studies again today.
