Day 3
Grade 6s began their day with
math. Today’s lesson was a fun one where students conducted probability
experiments. They wrote theoretical probabilities for different experiments
(coloured counters, spinners, die, etc.) that would be repeated 100 times. They
used their theoretical probability to say how many times an event was expected to
occur. They then conducted the experiment and compared the results to the
theoretical ones. There is no math homework assigned today. The unit test will
be written on Monday, June 12th.
Students received their
exhibition grades today. They added their work to their IB Portfolios. The
portfolios are on display at our art table in the gym.
Students spent a lot of today’s
class time working on their summative project. Everyone should remember their
devices for tomorrow. Projects will be presented to our class on Friday, and to
a younger grade on Monday.
